All our soaps are carefully hand made by us in small batches with high quality ingredients in our own kitchen. All include hand harvested organic Hebridean seaweed, herbal extracts and organic oils to nourish, cleanse and moisturise the skin.
We make our soaps using the traditional ‘cold process’, with Olive, Scottish Rapeseed and Coconut oils forming the base of our recipe. We do not use palm oil in response to the environmental damage being caused by the planting of palm plantations in Indonesia.
Our transparent bars are made in the same traditional way - and when the oils have been combined with lye the soap mixture is ‘cooked’ with glycerine and sugar to produce naturally coloured transparent bars.
